Washington DC [US], November 21 (ANI): Paris Hilton is giving audiences a closer look at her life and the emotional journey behind her music career as she prepares to return to the stage, according to People.
The 44-year-old businesswoman and musician released the trailer for her documentary, Infinite Icon: A Visual Memoir. The film documents Hilton's preparations for her first-ever full-length concert at the Hollywood Palladium, staged shortly after the launch of her 2024 album Infinite Icon.
Described as 'a new documentary concert film,' the trailer showcases unseen moments from Hilton's life as she gears up for her October 2024 performance. In the clip, the 'Stars Are Blind' singer is seen breaking down in tears as she acknowledges her anxieties. 'It's hard 'cause people are so judgmental,' she says, adding that she felt 'nervous' ahead of the milestone concert, according to People.
The film also revisits Hilton's rise to fame in the early 2000s and the public persona that shaped her image. Reflecting on those years, she says many perceived her as carefree, without understanding the struggles she faced privately. 'I was young and had no idea the destruction of that innocence was right around the corner,' she notes in the trailer, according to People.
The narrator highlights the impact of Y2K celebrity culture on women in the spotlight, while Hilton shares how she learned to navigate criticism. 'I knew somewhere deep down that if I listened to all those hateful comments out there in the world, I would never recover. So, I decided to find the light within the darkness,' she says.
The trailer closes with Hilton emphasising the transformative role music has played in her life. 'The power of music is indescribable. Music saved my life,' she declares.
According to the film's press release, the documentary features appearances by Nicole Richie, Meghan Trainor and Sia, along with decades of personal archives, rare home videos, candid interviews and live performances. Infinite Icon: A Visual Memoir is set to release in theatres on January 30, 2026.
Hilton's album Infinite Icon was released in September 2024, followed by her sold-out concert at the Hollywood Palladium a month later. 'Performing for a sold-out crowd... was beyond iconic,' Hilton shared on Instagram after the show, thanking fans, friends and family for their support.
Speaking to People around the album's release, she described the project as a reflection of her personal growth. Hilton said her first album captured her 'party girl era,' but added that her latest work symbolises the evolution she has undergone in recent years. (ANI)
