Wisconsin starting quarterback Billy Edwards Jr., making his debut Thursday night after transferring from Maryland, left midway through the second quarter of the nonconference opener against Miami (Ohio) with a lower-body injury and will not return.Edwards, who passed for 2,881 yards and 15 touchdowns last season as the starter at Maryland, completed 6 of 13 passes for 68 yards before the injury.Sophomore Danny O'Neil, a transfer from San Diego State, replaced Edwards.Wisconsin led 3-0 at the half.--Field Level Media
