Aid entering Gaza accounts for less than 1 pct of population's needs: Hamas
The Hamas-run Gaza government media office said Saturday that the humanitarian aid that has entered the Gaza Strip accounts for less than 1 percent of the Gaza population's basic needs.
"During the 84 days of the blockade and complete closure, at least 46,200 trucks loaded with aid and fuel were supposed to enter the Gaza Strip to meet the minimum needs of the population," the office said in a statement.
Russia, Ukraine conducts significant prisoner swap
Russia and Ukraine on Saturday exchanged 307 prisoners each under an agreement reached during recent talks in Istanbul, said the Russian Defense Ministry.
The ministry said 307 Russian servicemen have "returned from Kiev-controlled territory," while the equivalent number of Ukrainian prisoners was freed as well.
U.S. drone strikes kill at least 6 in suspected al-Qaeda hideout in Yemen: sources
U.S. drone strikes overnight targeted a suspected al-Qaeda hideout in Yemen's southern province of Abyan, killing at least six people, a Yemeni military official told Xinhua on Saturday.
The strikes hit the mountainous Marakisha area in eastern Abyan late Friday, the official said, speaking on condition of anonymity. All those killed were believed to be members of al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP), the Yemen-based branch of the militant network.
U.S. judge blocks Trump administration from revoking foreign students' legal status
A U.S. federal judge has issued an injunction blocking the Trump administration from revoking the legal status of foreign students studying and working in the country.
In a nationwide injunction issued Thursday, U.S. District Judge Jeffrey White of the Northern District of California ruled that the government cannot revoke international students' legal status without conducting individualized reviews and following existing federal regulations.
Xi extends condolences over death of former Vietnamese President Tran Duc Luong
Chinese President Xi Jinping on Saturday extended condolences to General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee To Lam and Vietnamese President Luong Cuong over the death of former Vietnamese President Tran Duc Luong.
In his message, Xi, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, expressed profound condolences and extended sincere sympathies to Tran Duc Luong's family on behalf of the CPC, the Chinese government and the Chinese people.

Erdogan meets Syrian interim leader on bilateral ties, regional developments
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Syrian interim leader Ahmed al-Sharaa met on Saturday in Istanbul to discuss bilateral relations and regional developments, the Turkish presidential office said.
The closed-door meeting lasted for an hour and a half, according to a statement by the office.
