A new app for tattoo artists and tattoo aficionados is primed to revolutionize the tattoo scene in Los Angeles.
InkLnk aims to connect potential clients with the perfect tattoo artist, and streamline the process booking tattoo appointments. The app is not investor funded, and was founded by tattoo aficionado, Grapes Wasserman. Grapes is a self-employed artist and LA native.
It recently debuted all throughout Los Angeles, and has its sights set on other markets in the near future.
In addition to streamlining the process of booking tattoo appointments and allowing clients to obtain price estimates, the InkLnk app also features a 3-D modeling engine that allows users to preview the design they're interested in on any part of the human body.
Even more importantly, InkLnk fills a major gap in the market for tattoo artists who want to streamline the process of finding and communicating with clients.
InkLnk for Tattoo Artists
Founder Grapes Wasserman explains the impact this could have on the LA tattoo community, "InkLnk weeds out potential clients that are simply window shopping, by providing quotes for tattoos, thereby eliminating a lot of back and forth that artists have to deal with to land the client. InkLnk also allows the artist to accept or deny bookings without having one on one interactions with clients."
InkLnk is currently available in both the Apple Store and the Google Play Store.
"Other apps have focused entirely on the client experience. InkLnk is focused mostly on artist needs. I created an algorithm (patent pending) that uses individual tattoo artist profile data to create customized estimates for clients. InkLnk is able to remove the entire artist process of pitching customers to get business, because once an artist fills out their profile in the app, we use that data to pitch for them. Competitors haven't done anything like this," says Wasserman.
