Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green signed a multi-year deal with Turner Sports that will have him make regular appearances as an analyst on TNT's "Inside the NBA," it was announced Thursday.
Green, 31, will continue his playing career for now, though the arrangement could lead to Green becoming a mainstay on the show that includes Charles Barkley, Shaquille O'Neal, Kenny Smith and host Ernie Johnson.
Active WNBA star Candace Parker also serves as an NBA analyst on TNT's Tuesday games. But Green's deal is being touted as the first time an active NBA player has added broadcasting duties.
"I've had an amazing experience working with Turner Sports in recent years and I'm a big believer in the way they entertain and genuinely connect with fans on all levels," Green said via a press release. "Today's announcement helps to formalize our relationship and I couldn't be prouder to officially be a part of the of the TNT family."
The three-time All-Star has won three NBA titles as a member of the Warriors, his only team throughout his 10-year professional career. He's averaged 8.7 points, 6.9 rebounds, 5.4 assists and 1.4 steals for his career -- including 7.9 points, 7.6 rebounds, 7.4 assists and 1.4 steals during the 2021-22 season.
