SACRAMENTO— Layoff notices have been sent to 545 California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation employees, according to CDCR spokesman Jeffrey Callison.Callison said that around 140 of those notices went to correctional officers, and that all 33 state prisons were hit by the cuts.
